Phenexplain Demonstration
In this example, training was performed on images obtained in the following way. IPSCs were derived from fibroblasts sampled from a LRRK2 G2019S mutated
Parkinson's patient. These IPSCs were then reprogrammed to dopaminergic
neurons with or without a CRISPR-cas9 correction of the G2019S
mutation. The last is then an isogenic engineered wild type. Large
sets of confocal images with one dye labeling for Nuclei, and antibody
stains labeling for alpha synuclein and TH cells were acquired and displayed no visible differences. Using our approach, we can clearly see that to transform
mutated neuron to rescued wild type, the system needs to remove a part of the IPS cells and transfom some others into neurons. All displayed imaged are synthetic.
